Your Matcha Guide: Where to Go in Nashville Right Now

There’s something about spring that pairs perfectly with matcha. The fresh flavor, the vibrant color, and that steady, feel-good energy boost. Whether you’re a longtime matcha fan or just starting to branch out from your usual coffee order, there are some standout spots around Nashville worth adding to your list this season.

Here are a few of my personal favorites to try:

Nashville sweet treats

Olle Korean Ceremonial Grade Matcha

If you’re looking for a matcha experience that feels elevated, Olle is a must. Their Korean ceremonial grade matcha is smooth, high quality, and the base for some of the most creative drinks around.

Favorites to try:

  • Matcha Latte
  • Banana White Chocolate Matcha Latte
  • Strawberry Matcha Latte
  • Taro Matcha Latte

They also rotate in limited-time flavors, like the Dubai Chocolate Matcha we tried, which makes each visit feel a little different.

Viet Tea Café

For a fruity twist, Viet Tea Café stands out. My personal favorite is their strawberry matcha latte, and it’s one I come back to again and again.

It’s made with pureed strawberry, milk, and matcha, creating a perfectly layered drink that’s both refreshing and slightly sweet. It’s simple, but done really well—and feels like spring in a cup.

Forevermore  (East Nashville)

When the temperatures start to rise, Forevermore’s seasonal matcha slushie is the move.

It’s icy, refreshing, and just sweet enough to feel like a treat without being too heavy. If you’re someone who loves a cold, blended drink in the warmer months, this is an easy favorite.

Southerners (Franklin Drive-Thru)

Southerners is perfect for when you want something quick but still fun and customizable. Their matcha-inspired drinks start with green tea sweetened with vanilla, then layered with flavors like strawberry, vanilla, lavender, blackberry, and more.

The key here is to add the cold foam on top—it takes the drink to the next level and makes it feel a little more indulgent.

Whether you’re grabbing a quick drive-thru drink, trying a seasonal special, or sitting down to enjoy something new, matcha is having a moment and Nashville has no shortage of ways to enjoy it.

Ashlee Lowry
In 2023 my family traded in our flip flops for cowgirl boots and made the move from the Alabama Gulf Coast to Nashville with my husband, (Ben), two girls (Collins and Quinn), our big fluffball (Lionald) and our humble turtle (Shelly). I went from an in-office setting literally on the beach, to a work-from home setting in the music city and could not be happier with the change. We love to shake things up, experience new things and enjoy new perspectives. I am an extreme optimist, a daydreamer, a full time Marketing professional, a part-time writer, and a “whenever I can” adventurer! I like to think of myself as a free spirit, but realistically motherhood most often times binds me to a solid plan and scheduled days. I drink way too much caffeine and am a certified drink goblin (One for caffeine, one for hydration and one just for fun!) Being a mom most oftentimes demands behaviors such as going out in public and being social, but my favorite place in the world is on my couch. As a marketing professional I love telling stories. I enjoy sharing adventures, tips, tricks and my favorite mom-approved places to visit, experience, and see! I cannot wait to share my perspectives and opinions with this community and I look forward to connecting with other Nashville moms in our new home.
