Family Fun Starts Here
One of the reasons we love Brentwood is because there’s never a shortage of things to do with kids.
Roller skating never goes out of style! Brentwood Skate Center is one of our favorite rainy-day activities and a fun option for birthday parties, family nights, or just burning off some energy.
Need to get the wiggles out? Sky Zone is always a hit. Between trampolines, obstacle courses, climbing attractions, and dodgeball, it’s nearly impossible for kids to leave without a smile.
The Brentwood Splash Pad is one of our favorite ways to cool off. It’s perfect for younger kids and an easy way to spend a summer afternoon without committing to a full pool day. It closes for the 2026 season August 9 so there’s still time to enjoy.

Family Favorites
Jefferson’s is the definition of a locals spot- I was actually surprised they even had a website. This is one of our go-to spots when everyone wants something different. Wings, burgers, sandwiches, and plenty of TVs make it a great choice after a busy day of activities.
The Poki is our favorite stop when we’re craving something fresh. Their customizable poke bowls are delicious, healthy, and perfect for a quick lunch.
Puffy Muffin is a Brentwood institution for good reason. Whether you’re stopping in for breakfast, lunch, or one of their famous desserts, it’s hard to leave empty-handed. We grabbed a strawberry cake for my mother-in-law’s birthday this year and it was to die for!
Date Night Worth Dressing Up For
If you’re planning an evening out, Brentwood has plenty of options.
- Mere Bulles is a longtime favorite housed inside a beautiful historic home, making it perfect for celebrations or Sunday brunch.
- Serrato’s Steakhouse offers an upscale dining experience with exceptional steaks, seafood, and cocktails. This is definitely a go-to special occasion stop.
- Karrington Rowe has quickly become one of Brentwood’s standout restaurants, serving elevated American cuisine in a beautiful setting.
Get Outside
One thing Brentwood does incredibly well is green space.
As Brentwood’s largest park, Marcella Vivrette Smith Park is one of the most beautiful places in Williamson County. Miles of scenic trails wind through forests and open fields, while historic Ravenswood Mansion adds a touch of Southern history. It’s also one of my favorite spots for family photos.
Crockett Park is another family favorite with playgrounds, walking trails, athletic fields, picnic areas, and the Eddy Arnold Amphitheater, where you’ll find concerts and community events throughout the summer.
Shop & Stroll
If shopping is more your speed, Brentwood has plenty to offer.
Hill Center Brentwood is one of my favorite places to spend a few hours browsing boutiques, grabbing lunch, and enjoying coffee on a patio.
You’ll also find plenty of shopping and dining at Brentwood Place, making it easy to check a few errands off your list while still enjoying the day.
