Ever since we moved from Gulf Shores to Music City, we’ve been taking full advantage of living in one of the best concert cities in the country.
One of my favorite things about Nashville is that there’s always another show to look forward to. Whether it’s a mother-daughter concert, a girls’ night out, or a quick weekend road trip, concerts have become one of our favorite ways to make memories together.
These are the shows we’re most excited about over the next year.
The Concerts We’re Traveling For
Forrest Frank – Louisville, July 28
If you missed him in June, he’s coming to Louisville in July! If you’re looking for a fun family-friendly road trip, Louisville is an easy drive from Nashville. Forrest Frank puts on an incredibly uplifting show that’s packed with energy, positive messages, and music everyone can enjoy together.
Sublime – Tuscaloosa, Sept 18
This one is actually for my teenager, and I absolutely love that. Watching her discover music and develop her own taste has been one of my favorite parts of parenting. It’s fun getting to experience artists through her eyes, and this summer road trip to Tuscaloosa is one we’re both looking forward to.
KATSEYE – Atlanta, October 5
If you have a tween or teen, chances are you’ve heard KATSEYE on repeat. Their performances are packed with energy, incredible choreography, and catchy songs that make this the perfect mother-daughter concert adventure.
Nashville Shows We Can’t Wait For
One of the best parts about living in Middle Tennessee is that so many major tours stop here. These are the tickets we’re most excited about.
Usher & Chris Brown – Nashville, July 25
This concert is bringing out my inner millennial in the best way. If your playlists were filled with early-2000s R&B, you already know this is going to be one giant nostalgia party. I’m fully prepared to lose my voice singing every word.
Megan Moroney – Bridgestone, August 21
Megan has quickly become one of our favorite country artists, and her concerts have such a fun, welcoming atmosphere. It’s the kind of show that feels perfect for a mother-daughter night or even the whole family if you’ve got country music fans at home.
Olivia Rodrigo – Bridgestone Arena, Nov 23
We were lucky enough to see Olivia’s GUTS Tour when it came through Nashville, and it completely lived up to the hype. From the production to the vocals to hearing an entire arena belt every lyric together—it was one of the most fun concerts we’ve ever been to. Needless to say, we’ll be back for this one.
Gracie Abrams – Bridgestone, February 2027
Gracie’s storytelling and intimate performances have earned her one of the most loyal fan bases in music. Her Nashville stop is already generating major excitement, and this feels like the perfect girls’ night out.
I’ve realized concerts aren’t really about checking another event off the calendar.
They’re the drive there with your favorite playlist. They’re grabbing dinner beforehand.
They’re buying the overpriced T-shirt you’ll wear for years anyway. They’re watching your kids light up when their favorite song starts.
