As the crisp autumn air rolls in, there’s nothing better than diving into those cozy, comforting fall feels. Whether it’s the perfect seasonal item or a nostalgic experience, here’s my checklist of must-haves and moments to make sure your fall vibes reach maximum coziness!

  1. Aldi Pumpkin Dishes

These adorable pumpkin-shaped dishes from Aldi are a seasonal gem you don’t want to miss. Available in dark green, orange, and white, they’re perfect for casseroles and worth finding storage space for when not in use. They also offer mini dishes and the cutest pumpkin gravy boat for added charm to your fall table. Find them here!

  1. Aldi Pumpkin Sherpa Throw Pillow

Nothing says cozy quite like a jumbo sherpa pumpkin pillow! Available in fall colors like orange, green, blue, and white, these soft cushions are perfect for any autumn nook. The jumbo version is $14.99, while the smaller ones are under $10. Check them out!

  1. Native Autumn Scents

For those fall-scent lovers, check out Native’s fall-scented products. They’ve got deodorants, body washes, and more that’ll make you smell like a cozy fall afternoon.

And if you have tweens in the house, Tree Hut’s fall-scented products are a hit too!

  1. Trader Joe’s Fall Staples

No fall feels checklist is complete without a trip to Trader Joe’s. My favorites?

  • Pumpkin Spice Cold Brew Coffee Concentrate: Perfect for making your own cozy fall latte at home. See it here!
  • Fall Leaf Tortilla Chips: Not only cute, but their colors come from healthy ingredients like beet, carrot, and pumpkin powder. Find them here!
  • Butternut Squash Mac and Cheese: A freezer staple with a creamy mix of gouda, cheddar, and parmesan, plus warm fall spices like sage and nutmeg. Learn more here!
  • Pumpkin Spice Cookies and Pumpkin Ice Cream: Because you can never have too many pumpkin treats. Check out the cookies here and the ice cream here.
  1. This Adorable Fall Mug

Head to White’s Mercantile to pick up a mug that’s perfect for sipping your favorite fall drink. At $20, it’s not only functional but oh-so-cute.

  1. Fall Collection from Paddywax

Set the mood with a fall-scented Ripple candle collection from Paddywax. With earthy and spicy notes, it’ll transport you straight into a leaf-crunching, sweater-wearing mood.  Paddywax.com

  1. Halloween Pillow

A little more Halloween than fall, but this scream pillow is a fun must-have! Grab it on Amazon.

  1. Fall Stanley Collection

I found the perfect fall-colored Stanley cups at Target! Drinking from it feels like sipping a sweater – if that makes sense – and it’s an absolute fall staple.

  1. Caramel Apple Cold Brew from Starbucks

Here’s how to order my favorite fall self-made drink creation at Starbucks. The below recipe is for a grande:

  • Start with a Pumpkin Cream Cold Brew.
  • Substitute the vanilla syrup with one pump of caramel and one pump of apple brown sugar.
  • Switch the pumpkin cream cold foam for apple brown sugar cold foam.
  • Top it with apple drizzle instead of pumpkin spice topping. It’s a bit of a mouthful to order, but trust me, it’s worth it! (My husband won’t order it for me because it’s “too complicated,” but the app makes it easy!)
  1. Fall Vacation

One of my favorite ways to soak up the fall feels is with a fall break trip to Gulf Shores or Orange Beach. At The Beach Club, you can enjoy a beachfront campfire, indulge in a massage at The Spa, and savor delicious fall flavors at Coast Restaurant and The Village Hideaway. They offer everything from cozy cottages to spacious condos.

If you prefer Orange Beach, Turquoise Place is where it’s at. The large, luxurious condos come with balcony hot tubs and fireplaces, perfect for keeping cozy in cooler weather. Plus, the heated indoor pools are a fall bonus! My kids are spoiled by the balcony hot tubs now and always ask if we’ll have one wherever we stay.

  1. Cheekwood or Apple Orchard Visit

Lastly, for a quintessential fall experience, visit Cheekwood Harvest to see the stunning autumn displays, and don’t forget to leave with a pumpkin! Another great option is a trip to an apple orchard. My favorite is Jackson’s Orchard, but there are many to choose from in the Nashville area. Check out more Nashville mom-approved orchards here.

These are just a few ways I get into the fall spirit. Whether you’re curling up with a cozy blanket or heading out for a fall adventure, there’s something on this list to bring your fall vibes to a perfect Level 10!

Ashlee Lowry
In 2023 my family traded in our flip flops for cowgirl boots and made the move from the Alabama Gulf Coast to Nashville with my husband, (Ben), two girls (Collins and Quinn), our big fluffball (Lionald) and our humble turtle (Shelly). I went from an in-office setting literally on the beach, to a work-from home setting in the music city and could not be happier with the change. We love to shake things up, experience new things and enjoy new perspectives. I am an extreme optimist, a daydreamer, a full time Marketing professional, a part-time writer, and a “whenever I can” adventurer! I like to think of myself as a free spirit, but realistically motherhood most often times binds me to a solid plan and scheduled days. I drink way too much caffeine and am a certified drink goblin (One for caffeine, one for hydration and one just for fun!) Being a mom most oftentimes demands behaviors such as going out in public and being social, but my favorite place in the world is on my couch. As a marketing professional I love telling stories. I enjoy sharing adventures, tips, tricks and my favorite mom-approved places to visit, experience, and see! I cannot wait to share my perspectives and opinions with this community and I look forward to connecting with other Nashville moms in our new home.
