Summer with kids is magical…and also a lot. Having a few go-to memberships in your back pocket makes those long days easier, more flexible, and honestly more fun for everyone.
Instead of scrambling for plans every morning or finding camps to fill every week in the summer, we’ve made the shift to summer based memberships for our kiddos so there’s always plenty of options depending on what we are feeling that day. These are the memberships that give you built-in activities all summer long.
Nashville Area Kid Activity Memberships
Educational (but still fun)
These are the ones that feel productive without feeling like school. Perfect for balancing out all the pool days and popsicles.
Adventure Science Center
Memberships starting at $95/year
Hands-on, interactive, and one of the easiest ways to spend a few hours indoors. Kids can explore at their own pace, which makes it great for mixed ages.
Cheekwood Estate & Gardens
Memberships starting at $65–$75/year (individual level, varies seasonally)
This one is just as much for you as it is for the kids. Wide open space, seasonal exhibits, and plenty of room to roam. It’s especially great in the mornings before the heat kicks in.
Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum
Memberships starting at $60/year (individual level)
A great way to mix in a little Nashville culture. It’s surprisingly kid-friendly and a good option when you want something slower-paced.
Frist Art Museum
Memberships starting at $75/year
The Martin ArtQuest Gallery alone makes this worth it for kids. Creative, hands-on, and a nice break from outdoor activities.
Belle Meade Historic Site & Winery
Memberships starting at $75/year
Best for slightly older kids, but still a great way to introduce a little history into your summer. The grounds are beautiful and easy to walk.
Mathnasium of Nolensville
Memberships starting at $200–$300/month (varies by program)
Summer learning loss is real—but this keeps kids sharp without the pushback. Short sessions, flexible scheduling, and it helps build confidence heading into the next school year. Plus they have really fun events and incentives that make kids want to go.
Energy Expenders
These are the places you go when the kids need to move. A lot.
Sky Zone Trampoline Park
Summer passes/memberships starting at $30/month
Indoor, air-conditioned, and guaranteed to wear them out. Perfect for hot afternoons or rainy days. I love to work here- just grab my earphones, sit back in the massage chair and work away!
Urban Air Adventure Park
Memberships starting at $9.99–$13/month
If your kids love climbing, jumping, and obstacle courses, a summer pass here is a game changer. There are a bunch of adventure parks but this one is the best deal I’ve found!
The Adventure Park at Nashville
Memberships start at $75 per month
Think zip lines and aerial courses in the trees. This one feels like a full experience and is great for older kids.

Water + Everyday Go-Tos
These are your “what are we doing today?” answers.
Nashville Zoo
Memberships starting at $100/year for a family
More than just animals—the playground alone makes this worth a membership. Easy to pop in for a couple of hours and let the kids run. The giant playground in itself is worth the membership, plus one visit for a family of four is more than membership for one year so financially it just makes sense!
Nashville Shores Lakeside Resort
Season passes starting at $69.99
A season pass here will get used. Between the water park, lake access, and sandy beach area, it feels like a mini vacation without leaving town.
YMCA or your local rec center
Memberships starting at $50–$100/month (family plans vary)
Pools, splash pads, and open gym time make this one of the most practical memberships you can have. It quickly becomes part of your weekly rhythm.

So many great places! CMHoF, the Zoo and Belle Meade are my family’s favorites!
