With the holidays hot on our tails, ‘tis the season to prepare our homes, closets and pantries for the coziest time of year. While those big box retailers make shopping convenient and take the stress out of “decking the halls” with mass produced decor items, what you won’t find are those unique, one-of-a-kind pieces that really steal the show.

Luckily, the communities in and around Nashville thrive on unique, locally-owned businesses that offer personal, friendly customer service and shelves full of decor items from quirky knick-knacks to one-of-a-kind heirloom pieces that will be passed down for generations to come.

As you shop for your fall and holiday essentials, check out our list of cozy shops in and around Franklin, TN where you will find the essentials you need to turn your home into an idyllic, seasonal retreat.

Megan Weisinger
I am originally from the Philadelphia area, but have called Nashville home for over 15 years. I met my husband, Eric, shortly after moving here and we got married in 2012. I built my career in the tourism industry before becoming a stay-at-home mom to my son, David, in 2021. I live in College Grove and love the peace that this rural community offers while still being close to Nashville. I am an avid reader and a big fan of local libraries. I also have a passion for the performing arts and am involved in a local dance company and serve on my church's worship team. I enjoy traveling, a really good bar of chocolate, matcha lattes, shopping, cooking and finding the perfect pair of jeans.
