Summer is the perfect time of year to get fresh fruits and vegetables and blueberries are no exception! Blueberries ripen around the end of June/early July and are available usually into August. Opening date is July 6, and the u-pick schedule is 8A-5P (except Sundays). No chemicals here! Not even in the water. Call ahead for an appointment at 256-665-0397; U-pick gallon is $25. Frozen blueberries are also for sale for $45/gallon. Also, you can feed the miniature donkeys and wade the Harpeth River for $20 for some fun with the kids! Venmo, cash and checks accepted.
