Brushfire is the perfect place to create your own hand-painted works of art. If your kiddo can hold a paintbrush, he or she will have a blast making something one-of-a-kind. Studio fee is $7, and you have over 400 pieces of pottery from which to choose (prices range from $5-$95, but most are priced under $30). When you finish, the pottery is glazed, fired, and ready for pick up in about a week.

Firstlight offers 30 classes weekly for ages 4 and up! Courses are available for beginners, intermediate, and advanced artists and are offered throughout the year. The courses follow a school-year schedule from August to May, but you may join at any time. On Saturdays, we host “Art Buffet,” where every student gets to choose their own projects and is instructed individually. It’s like a private, personalized lesson, in a room with other students. We also have additional workshops and camps during the Summer.

From the website: Summer camps are available for kids 7+. Camps are 5 days long and are held from 10am-1pm Monday through Friday. Tuition is $200. Most Saturdays from 11am to 12pm, we have open painting sessions for children at $25 per child. Student’s choose from one of our children’s paintings. There are a limited number of seats and appointments are set ahead of time by registering via our calendar. Ongoing education classes are also available for children. These classes will last for the duration of Fall semester or Spring semester. Classes are held once a week for two hours.
