If you’re looking to skip the basic box of chocolates this Valentine’s Day and surprise your kids (or yourself) with something a little more memorable, Nashville has no shortage of creative, over-the-top sweet treats right now. From bear-shaped drinks to bakery-level pastries, these spots are serving up Valentine’s magic you’ll actually want to leave the house for.
Olle’ Korean Eats (West Nashville)
If you want cute factor turned all the way up, Olle’ Korean Eats is a must-visit. Through Valentine’s Day, any of their drinks can be served in their adorable Valentine’s bear cups—and yes, they’re as cute in person as they sound.
Our favorites:
-
Strawberry Milk Tea
-
Dubai Chocolate drink
-
Strawberry Mojito Valentine’s Bears
Beyond the drinks, Olle’s also serves a full lunch menu and has a small Korean grocery section stocked with ready-to-go favorites and fun snacks. We loved grabbing Buldak chips, honey butter chips, Hello Kitty apple juice, and melon milk to take home. It’s the kind of stop that turns into lunch and dessert without planning it that way.
Viet Tea Cafe (Antioch)
Viet Tea Cafe is absolutely showing out for Valentine’s Day. Their Valentine’s mochi donuts are soft, chewy, and beautifully decorated and the strawberry coconut Valentine’s bobo might be one of the best seasonal drinks we’ve tried. They also have a full menu full of Vietnamese staple items that are all delicous. The Pho is my favorite. Also, unrelated to food, but super fun for my marketing brain is their ADORABLE logo of a bay Kawaii penguin.
This is a great stop if you want something festive but still fun for kids, teens, and parents. Everything feels special without being overdone.
Triple Crown Bakery (Franklin)
If you’re craving something cozy and indulgent, Triple Crown Bakery’s Valentine’s hot chocolate is next-level. It’s rich, deep, and intense topped with a toasted marshmallow rim, sprinkles, and an adorable chocolate heart cookie. Truly heavenly.
They also had Valentine’s-themed boxed teas, snacks, pastries, cakes, and more available to purchase, making it an easy stop if you’re building a Valentine’s basket or planning a sweet surprise at home.
D’Andrews Bakery & Cafe (Downtown)
A James Beard Nominee, D’Andrews Bakery is delivering pastries that are just as impressive to look at as they are to eat.
Standout Valentine’s favorites:
-
The “LOVE” pastry filled with dark chocolate and strawberry
-
Tangerine Dream, featuring orange white chocolate mousse and orange marmalade
-
A heart-shaped croissant layered with strawberry compote and fresh strawberries throughout
These are the kind of pastries you bring to brunch or hide and eat yourself with a coffee.
