Valentines Day Gift Guide

I don’t know about you, but it seems like when I see cool or unique items I try to bookmark them in my mind to remember for later, and I almost always forget.  This year, I decided to write them down. Here I give you my recommendations for the best Valentine’s Day Gifts of 2015.

1.  Leather Cuff in Black by – Emil Erwin

It was so hard for me to pick just one gift from EE. They have so many unique and thoughtful items, and they are all handmade right here in Nashville, TN. Check out the belts and wallets as well. There is something for everyone.

2.  Kiehls Man Razor or a Shave & a Cut

I recently sent my dad and my husband to Parlour and Juke here in Nashville for a shave and a haircut. If you live in Nashville (or are here for a visit) get your guy this combo, and no one will be disappointed. Ask for Hobby. Trust me. If you aren’t local, pick up the Ultimate Man Razor from Kiehls.

3.  Pulp Fiction Phone Case

Guys love Tarantino. Need I say more?

4.  Pocket Square – New York to Nashville

There is something about a man in a suit sporting a pocket square. It’s classic and sexy and these are handmade in Nashville. What could be better?

5.  Leather Belt – Peter Nappi

These gorgeous belts are designed in Nashville and handmade in Tuscany.

6.  Necktie from Otis James Nashville

Handmade in Nashville, these ties are unique and stylish.

7.  Climb Nashville

I was here last weekend for a kid’s birthday party, and the place was crawling with guys. What’s better than getting your guy a day pass to Climb Nashville? Getting one for each of you. The couple that climbs together stays together.

8.  Tennessee T-Shirt

I love vintage T-Shirts. Why not let your guy represent his home town (or his adopted town!) with a vintage T.

9.  Mini Jambox

These Jamboxes aren’t the newest item on this list, but I got one for my hubby last year and he uses it everyday. It’s definitely worthy of a mention.

1.  Braided Leather Cuff – Emil Erwin

I’ve come to expect a leather cuff at every occasion. I got one for my birthday last year, and have gotten one for every important occasion since. I love them. They go with everything and are handmade here in Nashville by some of the nicest people on the planet. If you are in the market for an upscale wristlet try The Jane.

2.  Chatbooks

These are so cool. They are small 6” x 6” books that take 60 of your Instagram pics to make a book. I just can’t believe I didn’t think of this. Genius!

3.  Personalized Necklaces by Lisa Leonard

I love these necklaces, and they make great gifts. I had one made with our kids names on them for both grandmothers and even their great-grandmother.

4.  Baggy Winecoat

Seriously? Because, why not?

5.  Kendra Scott

I don’t like these just because they are the “Dani” earrings, but also because they are awesome and will go with so many things. If the mint color is not for you, there are lots of different stones to choose from, and you can’t beat the price for beautiful earrings.

6.  Phone Case from Anthropologie

Every girl needs a pretty phone case.

7.  Personalized Family Print

We have something similar that my sister made for me, and almost everyone that comes in our house comments on it and wishes they had one.

8.  Jo Malone

I have heard such great things about Jo Malone Cologne. I’m looking forward to trying English Pear & Freesia, White Jasmine & Mint, and Earl Grey & Cucumber. You can even buy small samples so you don’t have to put out the cash for the big bottle if you can’t get to stores like Nordstrom that sell JM.

9.  Home Gel Nail Kit

I’ll admit it. I get Gel Manicures every 2 weeks or so. It’s a gift to myself that I’ve done for years. I like having my nails done, but I wouldn’t mind doing it myself at home with a kit like this.

What is on your wish list this year?

We’re super-excited to partner with Kendra Scott Jewelry to bring our Nashville Moms Blog readers the chance to win a pair of their “Danielle” earrings — winner’s choice of color! Kendra Scott is opening their new Nashville location at the Hill Center in Green Hills in early April!
