Valentine’s Day is the day for love, and why not set aside some time to also spend with the little loves in your life. We have rounded up a list of events around the area, as well as some date ideas to celebrate all things cupid, and love with your kiddos.
La Vergne Parks & Recreation- Father/Daughter Dance

Create memories that will last a lifetime at this event for young ladies and their dads, grandpas, uncles, or special escorts. This year’s theme is “Under the Sea” and will be held at the La Vergne Multipurpose Building. Admission is free. The girls and their chaperones will be treated to an afternoon filled with music, dancing, desserts and a chance to sit and take pictures in our photo booth. Everyone is welcome to attend, not just La Vergne residents. Mothers and sons are also welcome to attend the dance.
Turnip Green Creative Reuse

In this workshop, participants will create Valentines Day heart wreaths from tissue paper scraps! Multiple times available at 3P and 4:30P. Parent accompaniment required. All ages welcome.
Sweet Missy’s Custom Cookies and BYH Gallatin

Bring the kids for a fun day out with Sweet Missy’s Custom Cookies and learn to decorate sugar cookies! Each participant will get 4 Valentine’s themed sugar cookies to decorate. Children will be guided step by step as they learn to use piping bags to decorate their cookies! All supplies needed for decorating will be provided during class, including sprinkles and embellishments for their creations! Take home boxes will be provided! This is not a drop-off event. Parents must remain on premises during the entire class. Stay and have a drink and charcuterie downstairs in the restaurant!

Love is in the air! Join us to celebrate Valentine’s Day by decorating a button, crafting a “stained glass” window hanging, or taking part in our community art project. Valentine’s Parents’ Night Out
