Valentine’s Day is the day for love, and why not set aside some time to also spend with the little loves in your life. We have rounded up a list of events around the area, as well as some date ideas to celebrate all things cupid, and love with your kiddos.

Valentine’s Dates For the Kids

La Vergne Parks & Recreation- Father/Daughter Dance
February 3, 2-4PM
La Vergne Middle School, 382 Stones River Road, La Vergne

Create memories that will last a lifetime at this event for young ladies and their dads, grandpas, uncles, or special escorts. This year’s theme is “What A Doll” and will be held in the gymnasium at La Vergne Middle School, from 2:00 p.m – 4:00 p.m.. Admission is free.

The girls and their chaperones will be treated to an afternoon filled with music, dancing, desserts, face painting, and a chance to sit and take pictures in our photo booth. Everyone is welcome to attend, not just La Vergne residents. Mothers and sons are also welcome to attend the dance.


I Love You a Brunch- Loveless Cafe

Rise, shine, and brunch with your Valentines! Calling all couples, singles, and families – come enjoy a delicious Valentine’s meal at the Loveless Barn while supporting a great cause! We’ll have a kissing booth featuring adoptable four-legged friends, sponsored by Friends of MACC, a photo booth, hot chocolate bar, and a full breakfast buffet!

Peppa’s Cinema Party
(Check your local Regal cinema for times, February 9-15)
Come on everybody, it’s time for Peppa’s Cinema Party! This year Peppa Pig celebrates her 20th anniversary and to mark such a HUGE occasion she is throwing the MOST EPIC PARTY EVER – and all her friends are INVITED! (That’s YOU!) Featuring the 3-part Wedding Party story, the whole family can enjoy 10 never-before-seen Peppa Pig episodes! And with 5 brand new songs, as well as 11 interactive entertainment shorts with Peppa and her friends playing, dancing and singing in the real world, you and your little ones will be moving and grooving with Peppa in a whole new way! Valentine’s Breakfast at Kids Corner

February 14, 8:30, 9:30 and 10:30 time slots

Make special memories with your little valentine at our “I Love My Grown-Up” Valentine’s Breakfast. Donuts and juice will be served. You can arrive anytime during your designated time slot and stay and play for as long as you want!


Family Valentine’s at Curio

Fathers grab your daughters, mothers grab your sons!

Country Music Hall of Fame Family Program: Sweetheart Soirée
February 10, 2-3PM
222 Rep John Lewis Way S, Nashville

Love is in the air! Join us to celebrate Valentine’s Day by decorating a button, crafting a “stained glass” window hanging, or taking part in our community art project. Create something special for a friend, a family member, or yourself. All ages. Taylor Swift Education Center. Included with Museum admission. Free to Museum members.


Valentine’s Parents’ Night Out Events
Although these are not actual dates with the kiddos, this is a guaranteed good time for the kids!

Smyrna Outdoor Adventure Center
February 10, 6-10PM
100 Sam Ridley Pkwy E., Smyrna
Parents, drop the kids off at the SOAC for a fun night of activities and play while you enjoy some time away for a Valentine’s Date night! Please send your child with closed-toe shoes, water bottle, and a dinner for the night (snacks will be provided).

LiveWire Athletics, LLC
February 10, 6-10PM
3923 Richard Reeves Drive, Ste 1, Murfreesboro
Children will have a blast with games, open gym, inflatable mountain & tumble track, movie, crafts and pizza all while you have plenty of time to enjoy some time away. For this event, we will have a limited number of slots for ages 4-12 years. Pre-registration is required.
