A bunch of my friends and I recently got together for a night out. We are all hard-working mamas in need of a night away from diapers, dishes and bedtime routines. Instead of our usual dining spots or fighting tourist crowds up and down Broadway, we decided we wanted something unique, fun…and a little unexpected.
Lucky for us, we were able to snag one of Nashville’s coveted rooftop igloos at Top Note Nashville that sits “on top” of Marriott’s Townplace Suites!
Check out all the fun we had indulging in Top Note’s Igloo Experience!

When we arrived at Townplace Suites by Marriott in downtown Nashville, we were greeted by a friendly staff member who escorted us to the 7th floor where Top Note Bar and Restaurant is perched. The contemporary style of the bar and restaurant lends a sophisticated feel that extends to the rooftop, where we were surrounded by the twinkling lights of Nashville’s skyline.

After admiring the breathtaking views, we were excited to step inside our very own heated igloo! It came with complimentary cozy blankets, a free-standing fireplace, comfy chairs, and seasonal decor. Essentially, we had our own little private club!

As soon as we cozied up, we ordered a collection of tasty cocktails. The drink menu showcased a wide selection of craft cocktails, mocktails, beer, wine, and the best of Tennessee whiskey. They also offer seasonal cocktails including their famous “O’ Tini Tree, a tree that includes 12 mini martinis!

The service at Top Note Nashville was some of the best I have experienced in a long time. Our server was well-versed in all of the menu items, super friendly and kept us well taken care of the entire evening. She made our evening even more enjoyable (shout out to Olivia!).
Top Note’s food menu was easy to navigate and included elevated Southern-style bites consisting of shareables like Garlic Parmesan Wedges and the Demure Dip Duo and delectable entrees like the TN Craft Burger and Cajun Cream Pasta.

We finished the night off with Top Note’s signature S’mores Charcuterie. This is not your average “s’more”gasbord (sorry – I had to). We had our own stove to roast marshmallows, a stack of graham crackers and assorted chocolates that included milk chocolate, white chocolate and Nashville Goo Goo Clusters!! You can’t end your evening any other way.

By the end of the evening, the rooftop had become pretty busy. My girlfriends and I were so glad we had our private, heated igloo to stay warm in, laugh as loud as we wanted to, and maybe do a little dancing. Basically, we ate, we drank and we were merry – the perfect experience for the holiday season.
