In addition to being one of the longer months of the year, March is always a busy month full of activities and celebrations. We welcome Spring, which brings longer, warmer days with lots of sunshine, March Madness basketball begins, spring break happens, Easter preparations begin and one of my favorite holidays comes around – St. Patrick’s Day! I have a bit of Irish heritage in my DNA so I do love a good St. Patty’s Day celebration. 

We have gathered a list of fun ways to spend this festive holiday around the area with your family. Don’t forget to wear your green!

St. Patrick’s Day Events in Nashville

Nashville St. Paddy’s Marathon 

March 7, 8:15am (half-marathon), 8:30am (5K + 10K)
2320 Two Rivers Parkway, Nashville

If you are a runner and love to get involved in marathons, then I suggest this one. The medal is very Irish inspired in orange and green and all finishers receive a pint glass! There is a 5k that you can walk with the kids, 1/2 marathon and, new this year is a 10k walk/run. This run benefits the Special Olympics.


St. Patrick’s Day Family Party

March 14, 10am – 2pm
Belle Meade Historic Site, 110 Leake Avenue Nashville

Join Belle Meade Historic Site on March 14th for their St. Patrick’s Day Family Party where you’ll get the chance to make a shamrock suncatcher, a pipecleaner shamrock ring, a salt shamrock painting, and play with shamrock fluffy slime! They will have other fun games and activities, a photo booth, and St. Patrick’s Day themed snacks and a beverage station. At the end of the session there will be live Celtic music being played for families to dance and listen to.

Your ticket includes:

  • All craft supplies
  • Refreshments
  • Admission to the grounds, with access to their two restaurants, Coop n’ Scoop ice cream and coffee shop, mini-games court, and multiple self-guided historic structures. *The St. Patrick’s Day Family Party event does not include admission to the Mansion.

*Pre-registration is recommended, but walk-ins are welcome the day of to join us for this festive event! 


Goat Yoga Nashville- For the Luck O’ the Goats

Multiple dates in March
2626 York Rd. Nolensville

Goats will be dressed with the Luck O’ the Irish colors for a fun filled Goat Yoga Class. Come celebrate the month of Luck with an awesome yoga class and be the lucky ones who get to take pictures with our/your favorite famous goats!!
– Yoga Mats are FREE of charge to use, however if you’d like to bring your own you are more than welcome
– All ages are welcome, although, Goat Yoga may not be suitable for smaller children or children under the age of 8. They are still more than welcome to attend and participate but adults responsible for the children are required to supervise and watch younger children and ALL children at all times.

Shamrock STEAM Day at SOAC

March 12, 11am – 2pm
Smyrna Outdoor Adventure Center, 100 Sam Ridley Pkwy E., Smyrna

It is your lucky day at the SOAC full of games, crafts, and snacks. Join us for some educational fun and don your festive green clothing to celebrate! STEAM Activity will include making leprechaun traps! All ages are welcome!


St. Patrick’s Music City Half Marathon

March 14, 7:45am start time
Nissan Stadium, 2 Victory Avenue, Nashville

Kick off your St. Patrick’s weekend with a race that brings the luck—and the party—to Music City. Choose from a Half Marathon, 10K, or 5K and hit the streets with thousands of runners decked out in green. The celebration doesn’t stop at the finish line. Enjoy festive tunes, a post-race beer garden, and all the St. Patrick’s Day spirit you can handle.

St. Patrick’s Day Parade – Five Points 

March 14th, beginning at 10AM
Historic Five Points, East Nashville

The Irish Network Nashville invites you to the FOURTH ANNUAL Official Nashville St. Patrick’s Day Parade on Saturday March 14, 2026!
Kicking off at 10 AM, the parade will feature an exciting Grand Marshal, community groups, special guests, traditional Irish Pipe and Drums, and some of your favorite sports fans and mascots! Join in on the city of Nashville’s Official St. Patrick’s Day Parade, happening in East Nashville Five Points Neighborhood, and then stick around for Live Irish Music all afternoon across venues in Five Points.

East Nashville Stache Bash

March 14, noon – 11pm

Come join Nashville’s largest and longest running St. Patrick’s Day party at the center of Historic Five Points in East Nashville! This epic ,day-long block party will be celebrating its 16th year bringing all party-goers live music across three stages, tasty libations, giveaways and lots of entertainment.

General admission tickets start at $25.
VIP tickets start at $40 and includeexclusive access to the VIP lounge area with dedicated bar and drink specials all day and night.
