Sharing The Love of Valentine’s Day With Your Kids

Can you believe January is almost over? Pinch me now because that means its almost Valentine’s Day. I have always loved Valentine’s Day. I adore everything about it, the colors, the hearts, cheesy puns, and mainly the excuse to spoil those who mean the most to me.

Valentine’s day is ever evolving the older I get and the more little ones that my husband and I add to our family. I love celebrating Valentine’s Day with my kids. It’s such a great day to teach them how important it is to love others.

Today I am sharing with you a few ideas to make your Valentine’s Day special with your children.

I like to start off the day with a Heart Attack. Don’t be alarmed, I just couldn’t think of a better name. For my heart attack, I tape hearts and arrows on their door with affirmations written on them.

Have a Valentine’s Day breakfast! Here are some yummy breakfast ideas:

Make a Valentine’s Day lunch box. Find a heart shaped cookie cutter and go all out with a heart sandwich and fruit. Another fun idea is to only pack red or pink foods! A cute napkin and a sweet note would be the cherry on top.
