Lucky Ladd Farms

Lucky Ladd Farms is home to Tennessee’s largest petting farm, with hundreds of friendly animals and exotic livestock. There are 60-acres of fun activities including playgrounds, mega slides, wagon rides and more. You can saddle up for a pony ride or enjoy the free-flight aviary. They also have seasonal celebrations such as tulip and sunflower fields, and holiday themed events.


Harmony Lane Farm & Creamery

285 Harmony Lane
Smithville, TN 37166

Harmon Lane Farm & Creamery is a grade “A” dairy and farm store selling goat’s milk products, and other farm goods. They also raise and sell their own meats. The farm store is open to the public every day but Sunday. They do offer farm tours and goat cuddling, and reservations are required.


Mistletoe Farm Alpacas

Franklin, TN 37064

$50 for 30 minutes up to five guests. $100 for one hour up to 10 guests.

Family-run alpaca farm in Franklin, Tennessee. Offering hilarious and adorable alpacas, farm visits and a handmade store selling alpaca fiber items. Visitors welcome May to December, weekends from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. If they are booked on the day or time you prefer, call to join the standby list in case of cancellations!


Nash Family Creamery

4019 Hwy 41A N.
Chapel Hill, TN 37034

Nash Family Creamery offers some of the best ice cream you will find! But beginning April 1, they will also start farm tours! Come tour the farm for a family friendly experience. See the farm, cows and their milking process! $12 for Adults (Ages 13 and up), $8 for Kids (Ages 3-12). Be sure and schedule online.


Piccolo Farms Animal Sanctuary

Whites Creek, Tennessee 37189

Piccolo Farms Animal Sanctuary is a registered 501(c)3 non-profit organization.
Our mission is to provide a loving forever home for discarded livestock. Farm visits scheduled by appointment only. They will also announce “Open Farm Days” (most Saturday’s) via their social media pages @Piccolofarms (Instagram and FaceBook).  You can also book them for private events, birthday parties, corporate parties, and team building events! The Gentle Barn

Christiana, Tennessee

Open To Public Sundays. Tickets must be reserved in advance. It is the goal to open Gentle Barns in every state so that everyone in America can hug cows, cuddle turkeys, give pigs tummy rubs, and look into the eyes of these animals and know for certain that we are all the same, and deserving of the same rights, respects, and freedoms. Since its inception, The Gentle Barn has saved thousands of animals and been host to over 500,000 people.

Timed Entry: 10:00a-12:00p, 11:00a-1:00p, 12:00p-2:00p
Our program is at your own pace, so feel free to arrive anytime but understand that we close promptly at 2pm.

Please note that tickets are non-refundable. The barn is located in Christiana, Tennessee. Additional information about barn location will be provided with your reservation. Regarding Financial Hardships for Sunday Visits If you are unable to afford the requested donation amount, please contact us. The Gentle Barn is a non-profit organization and no one will ever be turned away for an inability to donate
