Touch-a-Truck at the Adventure Science Center

Our wildly popular, Touch-a-Truck event is returning this May. Children (and adults!) will have a chance to see and touch heavy machinery utilized in the construction industry and speak with the people who operate them. We will have various equipment on display and host floor cart activities promoting engineering. This special day is sure to be a ton of fun.
COST: FREE TO ALL AGES!
- Does not include admission to Adventure Science Center.
- Please note: No access to public restrooms is provided without a science center admission ticket

- *This free, outdoor event is ‘rain or shine’ and we will proceed with the event barring any unsafe weather conditions.*
- Expect lots of honking, beeping, and sirens, so we recommend wearing noise-canceling headphones if you’re sensitive to loud noises. We will have a quieter hour from 9:00 am to 10:00 am with restricted noise.
- Parking is limited, so we recommend carpooling or using a rideshare
- 50 of our usual parking spaces will be used for this event
- This event is loud! Individuals with sensory sensitivities should plan accordingly
- If you plan to visit the science center and are NOT attending Touch-a-Truck, we recommend arriving after 2:00 pm for the best experience
