The Curve Homeschool Conference

We are pleased to announce that the Curve is offering a conference for homeschool parents this summer! Join us for a full day of speakers and networking with other homeschool families. Optional programming for students will also be offered.

Julie Bogart will be one of our keynote speakers, joining is virtually with an inspiring message for our attendees. Julie Bogart is known for her common sense writing, critical thinking and home education advice. Julie’s the creator of the award-winning, innovative online writing program called Brave Writer serving 191 countries and hundreds of thousands of families. Her highly anticipated new book, Help! My Kid Hates Writing, comes out in April 2025. Julie is also the author of the popular books The Brave Learner and Raising Critical Thinkers. Her Substack, podcast, and social media are wildly popular sources of support to weary, well-intentioned parents. Julie home educated her five children who are now adults and she has three grandchildren.

Our day will also include expert panels on Homeschooling 101 and Homeschooling High School and nationally recognized speakers including Vivian Meyers from Curiosity Chronicles and Dr. Michelle Parinello-Cason from Dayla Learning. We will also explore Homeschooling Neurodiverse Students with a panel of experts and Incorporating Outdoor Education into your homeschool. Parents are welcome to bring their students with them for the day! Our students will be led in engaging workshops by the Nashville Public Library staff and Curve staff members. We are planning a fun day for all ages (K-12). Stay tuned for details and a student schedule available soon.
