Born and raised in Maryland, Elissa moved to Nashville fourteen years ago and is quite smitten with Music City. She lives in East Nashville in a small, but cozy, fixer upper. A former Montessori teacher, Elissa is currently a stay at home mom for her son (Ziggy) and two daughters (Goldie and Elida). She sometimes teaches an ESL class for adults and also does some freelance writing. Elissa is a hot bath enthusiast and a lover of books.
