Bluebird on the Mountain Concert

Relax on the lawn at Vanderbilt’s Dyer Observatory as you listen to Bluebird Cafe’s songwriters perform under the stars. On one of the tallest hilltops in Nashville, the concerts are scheduled around glorious sunsets at Vanderbilt Dyer Observatory. Guests are encouraged to bring blankets, lawn chairs, food, and drink and relax on the observatory’s front lawn to enjoy a fabulous evening of sunset, music, and stars.
Picnicking is a cherished tradition of Bluebird on the Mountain! The grounds of the Observatory will open early for guests to enjoy activities.
- For 7 p.m. concerts, gates will open at 3 p.m.
- For 8 p.m. concerts, gates will open at 4 p.m.
After each performance, the historic Seyfert telescope is opened for visitors to cap their night with views of the night sky.
